Australia's Top Android Drawing & Coloring Apps in Q4 2020

As the year 2020 drew to a close, the Australian market for Drawing & Coloring applications on Android saw varying trends across the top five apps in the genre. Sensor Tower provided the data that paints a picture of these apps' performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

The Silhouette Art app by Lion Studios, released in late November, showed a promising start with downloads peaking at 13K in the second week after release and weekly active users reaching over 15K by mid-December. Although the app did not generate revenue in its initial week, it quickly picked up, stabilizing at around 27 USD per week.

X-FLOW's Happy Color®: Coloring Book maintained consistent revenue throughout the quarter, with a notable peak of 91 USD in early December. Downloads and weekly active users saw an uptick in the latter part of the quarter, ending with over 4K downloads and nearly 40K active users in the final week of December.

Pixel Art - Color by Number from Easybrain displayed a strong revenue performance, particularly in the last week of November and the final week of December, where revenue hit 414 USD and 404 USD, respectively. Downloads and weekly active users also showed an increasing trend, concluding the quarter with nearly 5K downloads and over 25K weekly active users.

The performance of Paint by Number: Coloring Game by Oakever Games saw a revenue dip to 42 USD in mid-December but recovered to 110 USD in the following week. Downloads surged to 4K in the week of Christmas, and weekly active users rose to nearly 30K by the end of December.

Lastly, Fun Color:Happy Coloring games by Fun Coloring World experienced its highest revenue of the quarter at 296 USD in the last week of December. However, the app saw a decrease in downloads and weekly active users, ending the quarter with around 2K downloads and 5K active users.
